It is a cathartic release inspired by our desire for connection and self-expression…which sometimes stands in conflict with our concern to protect ourselves from the unknown dangers of this deadly virus. This project was shot in San Francisco and was a collaboration with dancer Kim Ip and musicians Bastien Goat and Amma Ateria.
This is my first horror style film, and I am grateful for the experience to try something very different with my work. I am also proud to say that this film was included in the Dance Thrill Fest II at the Roxie Theatre in San Francisco. Enjoy!
This time of quarantine allowed me to catch up on some old projects of mine. So I decided to create an experimental video to a song I produced several years ago. I was inspired by Pasolini’s version of “Medea” and the idea of creating a trance like video using visuals of the sun. Enjoy!
Here is a slideshow of some of my graphic design work from over the years. I mainly work in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and enjoy working in a minimalist, textured style and collaborating with musicians and performers. Feel free to reach out to me here for any commissions or questions.
‘m happy to announce a partnership I’ve started with UnCommon Law alongside my friend and mentor Justin Bench. This organization is an incredible non-profit legal team that saves those wronged by the criminal justice system and brings families together through prison reform. Seeing firsthand people get a second chance within our unjust system is a beautiful and inspiring thing.
Here is an experimental video I created that celebrates the long incredible journey of human evolution through some visuals I referenced from an old BBC documentary. Link also available here. Hope you enjoy!
