“Jubilant Vex” is a Bay Area-based dance and horror film I directed and edited in 2022. It is inspired by the collective stress and mental toll created by the pandemic.

Films

It is a cathartic release inspired by our desire for connection and self-expression…which sometimes stands in conflict with our concern to protect ourselves from the unknown dangers of this deadly virus. This project was shot in San Francisco and was a collaboration with dancer Kim Ip and musicians Bastien Goat and Amma Ateria.

This is my first horror style film, and I am grateful for the experience to try something very different with my work. I am also proud to say that this film was included in the Dance Thrill Fest II at the Roxie Theatre in San Francisco. Enjoy!

UnCommon Law Fundraiser

‘m happy to announce a partnership I’ve started with UnCommon Law alongside my friend and mentor Justin Bench. This organization is an incredible non-profit legal team that saves those wronged by the criminal justice system and brings families together through prison reform. Seeing firsthand people get a second chance within our unjust system is a beautiful and inspiring thing.

If you’d like to help support their work, and attend one of their future fundraisers, check them out here: http://uncommonlaw.org/contact-us/

Enjoy and thanks for watching!
