Here is a little video I made showcasing the work of Katie Southworth, a Boston-based artist who specializes in abstract painting. I was lucky enough to meet Katie by stumbling through the SoWa Arts Guild and seeing her open studio space. It’s been an awesome experience to document her process and style at work.
Enjoy the video & bring some color to your life by checking out her work below. Thanks!
Here is a little series I made recently. I started with charcoal on paper and then added some digital coloring and layers to create some depth. This series is called “Angular Momentum”.
A physics term I still don’t fully understand (whoops) but to me represents the idea of keeping your momentum going despite a change in the angle of your path. Something I think we can all relate to, especially right now.
Recently I made a little BTS video showing me paint my wall at my MassArt graduate studio. I didn’t have much ink at the time, except for some etching ink and one tube of acrylic ink, and my fingers haha…so this is what I cam up with.
Enjoy! And stay on the look out for part 2 where I add more color to it 🙂
Really proud of this little piece that came out for “NowThis” News that features some footage that fellow videographer Justin Bench and I shot for the organization UnCommon Law. Check out the story here, and follow this link to keep this important work going — thanks!
This time of quarantine allowed me to catch up on some old projects of mine. So I decided to create an experimental video to a song I produced several years ago. I was inspired by Pasolini’s version of “Medea” and the idea of creating a trance like video using visuals of the sun. Enjoy!
